ExpoCut is a mobile video editor for iPhone, iPad, and Android, aimed at creators who want AI-assisted editing without leaving a mobile device. Its core workspace includes a multi-track timeline, effects, filters, transitions, color tools, templates, captions, audio cleanup, background removal, voiceover generation, and exports up to 4K. Editing, rendering, and many AI functions run on-device, while an optional MCP server allows compatible AI assistants to control the editor over a private network.

The free plan provides a substantial starting point: multi-track editing, effects, filters, transitions, auto captions, on-device AI capabilities, and exports up to 4K. It requires no account or card, but exports include an ExpoCut outro. Pro adds the full effects, shaders, and transitions library, AI text-to-voice, stem separation, Clean Audio, Auto-Cut, stabilization, keyframes, masks, camera moves, speed curves, and clean exports. Elite includes everything in Pro, plus motion paths, video-inside-text, AI background removal, template import and export, and a commercial license.

ExpoCut fits users who prioritize mobile access and automated editing tasks such as captioning, denoising, silence removal, and voiceover creation. Pexels and Freesound integrations extend media options, and Model Context Protocol client support adds an automation path for compatible AI assistants. Its mobile-only scope makes it less suitable for editors who need desktop workflows or the broader editing coverage of general-purpose video applications. Choose it for AI-assisted mobile production and 4K social or short-form work; consider an alternative when desktop support or deeper verified editing coverage is central.
