EasyMocap is an open-source toolbox for markerless human motion capture and novel-view synthesis from RGB video. It is aimed at researchers, developers and technical teams working with human motion data, especially those building their own capture workflows. Monocular, multi-view, multi-person and Internet-video workflows are covered, alongside body, hand and face pose capture. The published feature set includes fitting SMPL, SMPL+H, SMPL-X and MANO models to detected keypoints, plus multi-person pose estimation and tracking.

Its scope extends beyond pose capture: camera intrinsic and extrinsic calibration tools, annotation utilities for bounding boxes, keypoints and masks, and real-time 3D visualization are included. Sparse-view human synthesis is another focus, with novel-view synthesis capabilities. That breadth suits technical teams handling different stages of a capture pipeline, but it also means the product is a codebase to operate rather than a hosted capture service. EasyMocap is self-hosted on Linux, with CUDA/Python workflows, so teams need the technical capacity to manage that environment.

EasyMocap is free and open source under a Project Registration License; organizational project use requires registration. The project is associated with the ZJU3DV Group at Zhejiang University, and support channels include documentation and community resources. JSON and YAML are listed as export formats, while BVH export is marked TODO in the documentation. Teams whose pipeline depends on BVH output should consider alternatives or plan a separate conversion step. EasyMocap is a fit for technical groups that value broad, configurable capture and synthesis workflows; it is less suited to buyers seeking a managed service or a ready-made export and integration ecosystem.
