DreamPlan Home Design Software is a freemium planning tool for homeowners and non-commercial users working on renovations, interiors, gardens, decks, pools, or new homes. It supports 3D, 2D rendered, and 2D blueprint views, with tools for houses, condos, apartments, multi-story layouts, furniture, fixtures, appliances, decorations, terrain, and landscape projects. Windows, macOS, and Android are supported, giving it a practical fit for people planning projects across common desktop and mobile environments.
Its strongest area is the breadth of design and file-handling features available for home planning. Trace mode can import existing floor plans, while custom textures and 3D models can be added alongside imported 3DS, STL, and PLY models. Projects can be exported as JPG, PNG, OBJ, STL, 3D model, and web-viewer formats. Google Drive, OneDrive, and Flickr integrations add cloud and image-library connections. These capabilities make DreamPlan suitable for visualizing both indoor layouts and outdoor spaces without limiting the work to a single room or floor.
The plan structure separates personal and commercial use. The Home plan is for personal use at home. Plus - Commercial License adds commercial licensing and an unlimited license for a user, while the Plus - Commercial License Quarterly Plan includes ongoing use of professional features and upgrades. According to the vendor’s published positioning, free access covers substantial planning functionality, but the product does not include AI features or AR visualization. Choose DreamPlan if you want accessible home and landscape planning with multiple views, imports, exports, and multi-floor support. Consider an alternative if AI-assisted design, AR, or broader platform coverage is central to your workflow.
