Doman Data is a web-based survey platform for political science, social science research, academic teams, and methods classrooms. Its block-based builder supports multiple question types, visual respondent-flow editing, randomized treatment assignment, eligibility paths, response quotas, respondent-facing previews, deployment controls, panel-provider redirects, and analysis-ready exports. The product brings survey authoring, fielding, collaboration, and documented data exports into one workspace, with a focus on experimental and structured research workflows.
The published plans show a Free tier at $0 per month with Block Builder, respondent-facing survey previews, and a personal workspace. Standard costs $10 per month and adds branching survey logic, randomized experiments, deployment and response collection, data, codebook, and survey-file exports, plus reusable blocks and survey design materials. Pro costs $30 per month and adds shared teams, collaboration on team surveys, and participant-group panels. Beta Tester is also $30 per month with early access to in-development features. Classroom costs $5 one time per seat and provides a semester-bounded workspace, Pro features for students, and professor visibility into submissions. Participating academic institutions can provide site-wide access.
Doman Data’s strongest distinction is its research-control feature set. Randomized treatment assignment, eligibility rules, quotas, panel-provider redirect passthrough, and exports with variables, recodes, and codebook context are useful when study design and downstream analysis need to stay connected. Integrations include Rep Data, Cint, CloudResearch, Prolific, YouGov, Open Science Framework, Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. Shared workspaces support team surveys, while the Chrome extension enables offline survey editing. Choose Doman Data when experimental controls, documented exports, and academic panel workflows matter most. Choose another survey product when the priority is a broader general-purpose workflow outside academic research.
