Doctena Pro review
A flexible choice for clinics combining scheduling, patient acquisition and telehealth.

Doctena Pro is medical appointment scheduling software for solo practitioners, group practices, medical centers and multi-location healthcare organizations. Its core workspace provides customizable appointment types, durations, availability and booking rules, while patients can book through the Doctena portal or a practice website. Email and SMS reminders, waiting-list notifications, recurring appointments and online payments for video consultations extend it beyond a basic calendar. An optional AI voice assistant can handle incoming calls and appointment booking, making the product a fit for clinics that want both patient self-service and structured front-desk workflows.
The published plans show a paid-only model with three tiers and monthly or annual billing. Basic costs €25 per month with annual billing or €29 monthly, covering the customizable online agenda, patient database, email confirmations and reminders, website booking, and email, phone and chat support. Smart costs €35 per month annually or €45 monthly, adding Doctena portal visibility, a professional profile, SMS for portal bookings, and a website widget or portal link. Premium costs €55 per month annually or €69 monthly and adds EMR synchronization, multiple locations, video consultation with online payment, and resource management. Clinics should choose the tier based on whether they need patient acquisition features or operational breadth beyond core scheduling.
Integration is a major part of the product’s fit for healthcare organizations. Doctena Pro supports EMR and practice-management-system synchronization, with named integrations including DiSy, OmniHis, Alfred, DentAdmin, EMED, Gestomed, PhysioPro, Lucy, DentaSoft, EyeFile, HealthOne, MedBot.ai and OmniPro. Multi-practitioner scheduling, resource management and recurring appointments support more complex practices, while video consultations add a remote-care path. It is less suited to buyers seeking a free entry point or a narrowly focused appointment calendar; the strongest case is for clinics that can use portal visibility, healthcare-system integrations and Premium-level features.
Doctena Pro pros and cons

- Portal visibility, profiles and an optional AI voice assistant
- Where it doesn't
- No free plan for practices wanting to start without a subscription
