Dittofeed review
Open-source journey automation for technical teams building personalized messaging workflows.

Dittofeed is an open-source customer engagement platform for organizations automating marketing and transactional messages. It suits technical growth teams, growing small and medium-sized businesses, and companies embedding messaging capabilities into SaaS products. Deployment is available through cloud or self-hosting, with web, API, and self-hosted access. Its core toolkit combines visual customer journeys, segmentation, broadcasts, templates, and email, SMS, and webhook channels.
The strongest part of Dittofeed is its journey and messaging depth. Teams can create multi-trigger, drag-and-drop journeys with branching journey analytics, then segment users using event and subscription conditions. Templates support HTML, MJML, low-code editing, and Liquid-syntax personalization. Broadcasts and one-off sends cover scheduled or ad hoc communication, while REST API and SDK access support product-led workflows. Embedded and white-label components extend the platform into software products rather than limiting it to campaign management.
Its ecosystem supports Amazon SES, Resend, Postmark, Twilio SMS, Twilio Segment, Polytomic, HubSpot, CSV, webhooks, and the REST API. The plan structure includes Self-hosted, Cloud, and Enterprise options. Self-hosted and Enterprise plans include unlimited unique users, while Cloud includes a 14-day free trial; Enterprise adds a dedicated support agent. Email support is included in the Self-hosted and Cloud plans. Dittofeed is a strong fit when open-source control, custom data flows, and omnichannel journeys matter more than broad CRM functionality. Teams prioritizing forms, lead scoring, or a wider set of CRM integrations should consider a more sales-focused automation platform instead.
