DigiCal review
A detailed Android calendar with broad views, widgets, synchronization, and weather.

DigiCal is an Android calendar application for people who want more control over how schedules appear and how event information is organized. It offers seven calendar views, six customizable widgets, event notifications, RSVP and invitation management, time-zone scheduling, calendar subscriptions, location search, and integrated weather forecasts. It supports both local calendars and synchronized calendars, making it a fit for Android users who manage several calendar sources from one mobile app.
The freemium structure keeps the core calendar available in a free version with advertising. That version includes calendar views, customizable widgets, calendar synchronization, and the main scheduling tools. DigiCal+ adds additional month widgets, a year view with heat map, additional widget themes, a custom snooze option, and ad-free use. The paid tier is therefore most relevant to users who prioritize widget variety, year-level visual planning, or an ad-free interface rather than basic calendar access.
DigiCal connects with Google Calendar, Outlook, and Exchange, and its location tools use Google Places and Google Maps for place search, maps, and navigation shortcuts. Local and foreign time-zone scheduling, subscriptions for holidays and other events, and weather information broaden its usefulness for personal planning. Its Android-only availability makes it a focused choice for Android users, while people who need a calendar spanning other mobile platforms or workflows centered on broader collaboration should consider a different app. Choose DigiCal for detailed mobile views and customization; skip it if platform coverage beyond Android is essential.
