Didactora review
A focused course authoring studio with branching, responsive layouts, and LMS exports.

Didactora is a browser-based course authoring studio for independent creators and teams making e-learning content. Authors can assemble scenes and slides from text, images, video, shapes, layers, and states, then add branching with triggers, variables, and conditions. For solo authors adapting existing PowerPoint material, PPTX import and itemized compatibility warnings offer a practical starting point. It is aimed at people who want to create interactive lessons and export them for an LMS, rather than at teams seeking established real-time collaboration.
Its authoring range goes beyond slide assembly: Didactora includes animation tools with motion paths, transitions, and a multi-track timeline, responsive layouts across breakpoints, and built-in WCAG 2.2 accessibility checks. Projects can be saved locally in the open .didac format. The platform is web-based and cloud sync is described as planned, so the current workflow is centered on browser authoring and local project files. The export range—SCORM 2004, SCORM 1.2, xAPI/cmi5, and standalone HTML5—makes it relevant when delivery format matters; the free tier, however, exports only HTML5 with a watermark.
According to the published plans, Free costs $0 once and includes 100 MB storage. Solo is $39 per month for unlimited projects, the broader export formats, personal reusable libraries, and 10 GB storage. Team is $59 per user per month and adds pooled storage; collaboration seats and shared team libraries are listed as coming, so teams needing those capabilities now should look elsewhere. Enterprise is a custom plan for 20+ seats, with on-premises deployment also listed as coming. The site says the studio is opening soon, so independent authors who can work within the current availability and want import, branching, and LMS exports are the clearest fit; groups needing active co-authoring should wait or choose another tool.
