Damvia is a digital asset management platform for fashion, consumer goods, footwear, and e-commerce brands. It connects to existing cloud storage, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive, so teams can organize assets without migrating them. Its workspace supports product images, campaign visuals, logos, videos, JPEG, PNG, and PDF files, with metadata fields, searchable structures, collections, and interactive pages. Product brands that need controlled external sharing and rights-aware visual portals are the clearest fit.
Pricing is aimed at organizations with a substantial asset operation. According to the vendor's pricing page, the Growth plan costs €500 per month with annual billing and includes up to 500 GB of data, unlimited users, unlimited bandwidth, a dedicated server, premium onboarding, and dedicated support. Enterprise costs €800 per month with annual billing and provides 500-1000 GB of data with the same listed service features. Premium Tier costs €1,200 per month with annual billing and includes 2 TB of data, alongside unlimited users, unlimited bandwidth, a dedicated server, premium onboarding, and dedicated support. A free self-hosted open-source community version is also available, while Custom Solution covers custom storage and development requirements.
Damvia's strongest functional case is the combination of product-data linking, asset governance, and distribution controls. CSV or Excel imports and filename taxonomy can automate product relationships, while licensing, usage-rights management, role-based access, watermarks, download controls, ZIP downloads, and activity tracking support structured sharing. Custom-branded external portals and full-text, faceted, and visual-similarity search extend the system beyond basic file storage. Choose Damvia when these workflows justify the managed-plan commitment; consider the self-hosted option when open-source code and self-managed infrastructure fit better, or another DAM when a lower-cost managed entry point is the priority.
