Cullora is a Windows desktop application for photographers who want to review and sort shoots without importing them into a catalog. It opens folders directly, displays embedded JPEG previews for supported RAW files, and keeps RAW files, JPGs and XMP sidecars together as photo groups. Ratings, pick/reject flags, filters, zoom and EXIF inspection support a manual culling workflow, while keyboard controls follow Lightroom key conventions.

The Free plan is available forever at €0 and includes folder-based culling, RAW, JPG and sidecar grouping, ratings, flags, filters, zoom, EXIF inspection and fully offline use. The Pro plan costs €49 one time and adds nine destination folders, XMP writing, photo renaming while filing, static gallery export, use on two machines and updates to Cullora 1. A 14-day free trial is also available. This structure makes the free tier suitable for manual selection and sorting, while Pro is aimed at photographers who need their decisions written back to sidecars or want more filing and export options.

Cullora’s strongest focus is local file handling: grouped moves, collision protection and a 100-deep undo history address the practical risks of reorganizing a shoot. Its integrations include Adobe Lightroom and Capture One, making the XMP workflow relevant to photographers moving between culling and editing tools. The trade-off is a narrow scope: AI culling is not part of the product, and it runs on Windows. Choose Cullora for offline, keyboard-led manual culling; choose an alternative if automated selection or another operating system is central to the workflow.

  • Where it doesn't
    • Windows only
    • No AI culling
