Couchday review
A free Apple planner that adjusts timelines as plans change.

Couchday is a daily planner for people who want structure without rigid time blocking. Its hybrid approach combines day markers, timed activities, focus timers, reminders, alarms, checklists, and calendar integration. The core planner is free and ad-free, while the app is available on Apple platforms including iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It suits Apple users who want a schedule that can adapt during the day rather than a fixed list of time blocks.
Pricing follows a freemium model. The free experience covers the core planner, while Pro is offered through Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, and Pro Lifetime options. Each listed Pro plan adds weekly reports, templates, pinned activities, calendar sync, alarms, and iCloud sync. The listed starting price is 9.99, with regional prices potentially differing in the US App Store listing. Buyers should compare the plan durations against how often they expect to use the added reporting, reusable planning, synchronization, and alarm features.
Couchday’s standout feature is its adaptive timeline, which recalculates when plans change. That makes it a practical fit for days where activities move, while reusable templates or playlists help repeat common routines. Apple Calendar integration, iCloud, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and Live Activities further connect planning with the Apple ecosystem. The trade-off is platform scope: people who need Android, Windows, or broader cross-platform access should choose another planner. Apple users seeking a focused daily schedule with flexible timing are the clearest match.
