CopperCube is a 3D authoring system and game engine for creating games, model viewers, walkthroughs, simulators, e-learning applications, and other interactive 3D software. Its click-based editor combines events, actions, prebuilt behaviors, terrain editing, physics, collision systems, realtime shadows, static lighting, and JavaScript scripting. It is particularly suited to creators targeting Windows and web projects who want visual authoring alongside scripting, rather than a fully code-first workflow.

The free edition is a substantial starting point: it supports unlimited scenes and applications, has no royalties or revenue limit, and publishes to Windows, macOS, Android, and WebGL. The Professional edition adds post-processing effects, video playback, custom Win32 binaries, and a command-line interface. Studio includes the Professional features plus Windows, Mac, and Android client source code. The plan structure therefore suits projects that can begin with the free edition and only need paid tiers for advanced output, automation, or client source access.

For 3D production, CopperCube covers practical foundations without narrowing itself to one game format. JavaScript works across publishing targets, while Steam overlay and achievements integration support Windows output. The procedural tree generator and integrated texture packer add focused content-production tools. The main constraints are platform scope and online functionality: Android output is marked deprecated, Steam is the listed integration, and multiplayer features are not included in the published feature set. Choose CopperCube for click-based games, simulations, walkthroughs, and interactive 3D applications with Windows or WebGL targets. Consider an alternative if current Android support, multiplayer systems, or a broader ecosystem is central to the project.
