CookieHub CMP review
A cost-conscious CMP with scanning, blocking, consent proof, and multi-domain controls.

CookieHub CMP is a consent management platform for website owners, publishers, and organizations managing cookie and tracking consent. It scans websites for cookies and tracking technologies, categorizes cookies and services, blocks non-essential scripts before consent, and provides configurable banners and preference management. Its multi-domain management, web and API availability, and integrations with Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, HubSpot, Magento, Webflow, Matomo Tag Manager, and React make it suited to sites operating across several platforms.
The published plans show a useful freemium structure. Free supports up to 1,000 monthly sessions and 50 scanned pages, with proof of consent and Google Consent Mode v2. Starter costs €6 per month and raises capacity to 5,000 monthly sessions while adding Global Privacy Control support and consent reports. Basic supports 30,000 monthly sessions and adds a multilingual banner, geolocation-based compliance, and automatic language detection. Business supports 120,000 monthly sessions and adds custom CSS, IAB TCF v2.3, and Data Subject Requests. Enterprise starts from 1,000,000 monthly sessions and includes SSO, advanced consent reports, and negotiated pricing.
CookieHub’s strongest fit is for teams that need core consent controls without starting at an enterprise price. Scanning, categorization, pre-consent blocking, consent records, geographic rules, Google Consent Mode v2, and centralized domain management cover the main operational requirements of a CMP. The 14-day free trial also gives prospective buyers a defined evaluation window. Smaller sites can begin with the Free plan, while growing sites have a €6 monthly entry point. Organizations needing higher session allowances, multilingual controls, IAB TCF v2.3, custom styling, or enterprise SSO should choose the corresponding paid tier; sites needing none of these may find the higher plans unnecessary.
