Cook'n is a recipe and cookbook manager for home cooks who want to collect recipes, organize them, plan meals, and turn plans into shopping lists. Founded in 1992, it runs on web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, with cloud, desktop, and mobile deployment. Recipe intake covers websites, Pinterest, scans, screenshots, and text. Once collected, recipes can be categorized, searched, rated, shared, adjusted for serving size, and assessed for nutrition. This breadth suits cooks maintaining a sizable personal collection, especially those who still value desktop cookbook management.

Meal planning and collection tools are closely linked: weekly and monthly planners can feed recipes into grocery lists organized by aisle, while servings and ingredient quantities can be scaled. Cook'n also supports cookbook creation for print or PDF, and sharing recipes and meal plans with family and friends. Pinterest and Amazon Alexa are the named integrations. The mix makes it more than a digital filing cabinet, but buyers seeking only a quick place to save recipes may not need its planning, nutrition, and publishing functions.

There is no free plan. Basic costs $4.95 monthly or $49.50 yearly and includes sync, cloud backup, and Cook'n Web App access; the annual plan also lists desktop upgrades. Standard is $9.95 monthly or $99.50 yearly, adding unlimited captures and scans plus tech support. Premium is $14.95 monthly or $149.50 yearly, with no ads, premium features, and AI recommendations; it includes one free cookbook per month on monthly billing or 12 per year annually. Annual family options cover five memberships: Basic Family is $89.95 and Standard Family is $139.95. Cook'n fits cooks willing to pay for a long-lived, multi-device recipe system; occasional savers or anyone requiring a free tier should look elsewhere.
