Connect Childcare review
A modular nursery platform spanning administration, learning records and parent communication.

Connect Childcare brings nursery administration, child development and family communication into a product suite for childcare providers, preschools, nursery managers and early years educators. The operational tools cover enquiries, enrolment, family records, attendance, invoicing, fee collection, staffing and reporting. iConnect Daily focuses on daily operations and child development records, while ParentZone gives families access to updates, bookings, bills and payments. The breadth makes it relevant to both individual settings and larger nursery groups; providers looking for one narrowly focused tool may find the suite broader than they need.
The published plans show separate monthly modules: Connect Childcare is £75 per month for management of multiple settings, finance and administration, communication, reporting and StaffPlan. iConnect Daily is £50 per month and includes enquiry management, child development, daily operations, digital registers and diaries, and reporting. ParentZone is also £50 per month, with an engagement app, child updates, daily events, bills and payments, and bookings. Prices exclude VAT. Because these are distinct modules, a provider choosing several should account for their combined monthly cost rather than treating the starting price as covering the full suite.
Platform coverage includes web, Windows, iOS and Android, with cloud, desktop and mobile deployment listed. That gives providers and families options across desktop and mobile access. The feature set also extends from attendance and parent messaging to observations, assessments, learning journals, curriculum planning, staff rotas, ratios and payroll reporting. Support channels include email, phone, community resources and documentation, and 24/7 support is listed. GDPR and PCI DSS are listed as compliance areas. Connect Childcare suits providers seeking broad nursery operations with a separate family-facing tool; settings that need to connect it to other software should weigh the lack of listed integrations when comparing alternatives.
