Coda review
A flexible workspace for teams turning shared documents into connected workflows.

Coda is a collaborative workspace for teams that want documents to do more than hold text. Shared documents combine real-time editing, comments, permissions, structured tables, formulas, forms, charts, Kanban boards, timelines, automations, and dashboards. Teams can use it for writeups, team hubs, trackers, and workflow-oriented applications. Its web, iOS, Android, and API availability supports work across browsers, mobile devices, and connected systems. AI features add chat, content generation, table generation, summarization, and AI columns.
Its ecosystem is a major part of the product’s appeal. Pack-based integrations connect Coda with services including Slack, Google, Jira, Salesforce, Figma, Snowflake, Zoom, AWS, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, GitHub, Asana, Mailchimp, and Dropbox. Packs can support workflow actions, while the API can read and modify documents and tables. Buttons and formulas can execute multiple actions or update records, giving teams a way to turn structured information into repeatable processes. Business adds hourly connectors, while Enterprise adds audit logs and SAML single sign-on.
Coda’s breadth is both its strength and its main limitation. The Free plan includes collaborative documents, tables, charts, Kanban boards, forms, low-quota automations, and 7-day version history. Pro adds unlimited document size, longer version history, more automations and Packs, and custom domains. Business adds unlimited automations and version history plus advanced collaboration and administration features. Enterprise adds custom pricing, advanced security and administration controls, audit logs, and SAML single sign-on. Choose Coda when documents, data, and workflows need to live together; teams wanting a narrowly focused document editor may prefer a simpler tool.
