Cloudcraft review
A capable AWS and Azure diagramming tool with collaboration, scanning, and cost planning.

Cloudcraft is a web-based diagramming tool for cloud architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and consultants working with AWS and Microsoft Azure. It supports manually created and automatically generated architecture diagrams, including multi-region environments, with 2D and 3D views. Users can filter resources, regions, and tags; annotate diagrams; estimate cloud costs; share or embed documentation; and edit diagrams simultaneously with other users. API access also supports programmatic diagram updates and CI/CD workflows.
The pricing structure separates basic drawing from live infrastructure visibility. The Free plan supports a single user, manual diagrams, AWS and Azure drawing components, and a limited drawing size of 12x15 components. Pro costs $40.83 per user per month when billed annually and adds one team, live scanning, infinite drawing size, PNG, PDF, and SVG export, plus Version History with 30-day retention. Enterprise costs $100 per user per month when billed annually and adds multiple teams, 90-day Version History retention, and SAML 2.0 single sign-on. A 14-day free trial is also available.
Cloudcraft fits teams that need cloud architecture documentation connected to AWS and Azure environments rather than a general-purpose diagram editor. Integrations with Confluence, Jira, and Datadog extend its place in documentation, project, and monitoring workflows, while AWS and Azure scanning supports diagrams based on live environments. Resource filtering, cost calculations, budgeting, version restore, and simultaneous editing add practical depth for infrastructure planning. Choose it when cloud-specific visualization and operational context matter; choose another diagramming tool if you only need unrestricted basic drawing at a lower paid price or do not work with AWS or Azure.
