ClassroomIO is an open-source learning management platform for bootcamps, educators, and businesses running customer education, employee training, partner onboarding, compliance training, or certification programs. It combines course and lesson authoring with exercises, grading, progression rules, certificates, cohorts, multi-course tracks, live classes, attendance workflows, public courses, quizzes, and gated lessons. Web, API, and self-hosted deployments make it suitable for organizations that want control over how their academy is delivered.

Pricing is structured around a free Basic plan, a paid Early Adopters plan, and Enterprise. Basic costs $0 per month and includes unlimited courses, Q/A, and programs, plus 20 students, an advanced course builder without video upload, and 500K AI credits per month. Early Adopters costs $35 per month and adds unlimited collaborators, video upload, certificates, 3M AI credits per month, custom branding, and a custom domain. Enterprise adds unlimited students, 15M AI credits per month, unlimited API requests, SSO, and 24/7 support. The published plans show monthly pricing, with a monthly/annual toggle on the pricing page.

The platform’s strongest differentiator is its breadth: AI-assisted authoring and tutoring sit alongside authoring tools, live learning, credentials, cohorts, APIs, webhooks, MCP connectivity, and OIDC single sign-on. Integrations with OpenAI, Okta, Google Workspace, and Auth0 support common AI, identity, and workspace requirements. ClassroomIO is a good fit for teams building branded academies or self-hosted training environments, especially when open-source access and learner scale matter. Teams that need native mobile delivery or built-in payment and email-marketing workflows should consider a platform centered on those capabilities instead.
