Circle review
A polished choice for paid communities that need events, courses, and live rooms.

Circle is a branded community platform for creators and brands that need more than discussion forums. It brings together community spaces for discussions, events, courses, chat, images, and member directories, with private and secret spaces for restricted access. Paid memberships, paywalls, website building, custom domains, member profiles, searchable directories, moderation tools, live streams, and live rooms make it suited to organizations running a paid community alongside events or educational content.
Pricing is structured around three tiers. Professional costs $89 per month and includes unlimited members, courses, discussions, events, a website builder, and live streams and live rooms. Business costs $199 per month and adds workflows, custom profile fields, the Headless Member API, the Admin API, and branded email notifications. Circle Plus uses custom pricing and adds AI Agents and AI workflows, custom SSO, highest limits, a sandbox community, and optional branded apps. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan, so the starting commitment is higher than a basic community tool.
Circle also fits teams that need a wider operating layer around their community. Official iOS and Android member apps extend access beyond the web, while Zapier and Integrately integrations, workflows, APIs, email marketing, analytics, and moderation settings support ongoing member management. Event creation includes recurring events and member permissions, and flagged-content approval and profanity filtering provide practical moderation controls. Choose Circle when polished presentation, paid access, live programming, and courses belong in one platform. A simpler community focused mainly on conversation may not need its paid entry point or broader feature set.
