A capable free authoring tool for interactive courses, with advanced features on paid tiers.

Cforj Course Forge Studio is a browser-based course authoring tool for solo instructors and learning-and-development teams. Its block-based editor supports text, video, quizzes, flashcards, branching scenarios, drag-and-drop interactions, hotspots, dialog trainers, and screen simulations. Authors can preview courses, publish them to the web, embed them with an iframe, or export SCORM, xAPI, and HTML packages. The product is open source and supports responsive output, assessments, collaboration, and AI features.
Pricing is organized across Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans. The Free plan includes unlimited courses, 10+ block types, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and xAPI export, HTML export, web publishing, share links, and iframe embeds. Pro costs $30 per month with monthly billing and adds AI course generation, an analytics dashboard, cforj branding removal, team collaboration, 50-version history, and priority support. Enterprise adds self-hosted deployment, SSO/SAML, custom domain and branding, unlimited version history, SLA and dedicated support, and an on-premise AI option. The published plans also show an annual billing option for Pro with a 17% discount.
Cforj fits teams that want interactive content formats and several delivery routes without starting on a paid plan. Integrations with Tilda, Wix, WordPress, and Webflow support website-based publishing, while SCORM, xAPI, HTML, and iframe options broaden deployment choices. The main separation between plans is important: advanced collaboration, analytics, AI generation, and version history require Pro, while self-hosting and enterprise identity features require Enterprise. Choose Cforj for free block-based authoring and interactive course creation; consider another tool if your priority is a non-web authoring environment or if those paid-tier capabilities are essential without an upgrade.
