Centra is a hosted, cloud-based ecommerce platform for fashion and lifestyle brands that sell through direct-to-consumer, wholesale, digital showroom, marketplace and physical-retail channels. Its headless architecture and composable APIs suit teams that want control over storefront experiences while keeping commerce operations in one system. The platform runs across web and API environments, with product information management, inventory, orders, returns, refunds and campaign tools designed around fashion commerce requirements.

Its ecosystem supports payments through PayPal, Adyen, Klarna and Stripe, while Klaviyo covers marketing and Storyblok supports content workflows. Sitoo connects point-of-sale operations, DHL supports logistics, and Google Merchant supports product distribution. GraphQL and integration APIs provide additional connection points for ERP, marketing, logistics and retail systems. For international brands, multi-market, multi-currency and multilingual selling are central capabilities rather than peripheral add-ons. Omnichannel fulfillment includes ship-from-store and in-store pickup, helping connect warehouses and physical locations to online orders.

Centra’s main strength is breadth for fashion organizations coordinating DTC and wholesale operations across markets. It combines product data, inventory across warehouses and stores, order management, returns, fulfillment, campaigns and voucher rules in a platform built for that operating model. The tradeoff is that its architecture and feature range are better suited to brands with meaningful operational complexity than to a small merchant seeking a narrowly focused storefront. Fashion companies expanding internationally or integrating retail and wholesale should consider Centra; teams wanting a simple, self-directed DTC setup may find its scope and sales-led buying process less suitable.

  • Where it doesn't
    • Requires a contact-sales process for pricing
    • Its broad commerce scope may exceed simple DTC needs
    • Not open source, limiting direct control of the platform code
