CastDesk is a private podcast platform for enterprise communications, sales enablement, and employee engagement. Organizations can record and edit podcast episodes in a browser, publish audio and video, manage multiple shows, transcribe content, and analyze listener engagement. Its invite-only access model supports internal distribution to employees and other authorized audiences, with web, iOS, and Android access. The platform is particularly suited to organizations that need controlled delivery rather than public podcast publishing.

Pricing is split between Teams and Enterprise. According to the published plans, Teams costs $499 per month with annual billing and includes audio podcasting, transcription, up to 100 users, one admin, 10 GB of storage, and a 99.9% Availability SLA. Enterprise adds video podcasting, unlimited users, 10 admins, a 99.99% Availability SLA, SAML2/oAuth SSO, and up to 2 TB of storage. Enterprise pricing is volume-based and requires contacting sales. For organizations with a small audience, the Teams user limit and starting price may make the platform difficult to justify; its pricing is better aligned with larger internal communication programs.

Access control and mobile delivery are the clearest reasons to consider CastDesk. Administrators can restrict content with access-control lists for groups and departments, connect single sign-on through Active Directory and SAML providers, and use employee segmentation and listener analytics to understand engagement. Employees can listen offline in the mobile apps, while custom-branded mobile experiences and an in-app feed with likes and comments support a more tailored internal channel. AI-powered search, automatic transcription, and closed captions add useful ways to find and consume episodes. Choose CastDesk for secure, branded internal podcasting across a sizable organization; consider an alternative if you need a lower-cost entry plan or a smaller-user deployment.
