A broad home care platform with free portals and paid automation for providers.

CareCade is home care management software for providers, caregivers, families, and case managers, with particular relevance for Washington DDCS/DDA and HCBS organizations. Its scope covers scheduling, caregiver coordination, electronic visit verification, care documentation, billing, payroll, reporting, and portals. Families and case managers receive free portal access, while providers use flat-rate plans based on client capacity rather than per-user billing. Web, iOS, and Android support extend access across office and field workflows.
The product’s strongest area is scheduling and visit operations. A drag-and-drop builder supports recurring schedules and copy-week functionality, while caregiver matching can consider skills, certifications, availability, location, and preferences. Conflict detection covers double bookings, overtime, travel time, and certification gaps. Caregivers can self-schedule, accept open shifts, request time off, and swap shifts. Mobile apps add schedules, care plans, notifications, navigation, clock-in/out, GPS and geofence-based EVV, and visit documentation. Care notes can include photos, voice dictation, goals, and incident reports.
Pricing creates a clear entry path but a significant jump for providers. Families and Case Managers are free forever, and the current offering includes a 14-day free trial. Grow costs $300 per month and adds scheduling, EVV-compliant GPS tracking, mobile apps, management tools, documentation, and HIPAA compliance. Scale costs $550 per month and adds unlimited clients, AI DSHS report drafts, priority support, a dedicated success manager, and automated workflows. Enterprise adds multi-office and multi-workspace support with custom pricing. CareCade fits organizations that want broad operations coverage and automation; smaller teams seeking a lower-cost paid provider plan may prefer a simpler alternative.
