CarDekho is an Indian automotive website and app for people shopping for used cars, as well as private sellers who want to advertise a vehicle. Its listings include cars from both individuals and dealers. Buyers can filter by location, price, body type and brand, then view seller details and make contact from a listing. The site also covers car comparisons, specifications, reviews and prices, so it serves as a broader research destination as well as a classifieds marketplace.
The seller-ad plans are separate from browsing: shoppers can search listings without a charge, while private sellers can choose a Free Ad Plan with a 30-day Regular Ad slot. According to the vendor's pricing page, the Boost Ad Plan costs ₹1,000 one-time and includes a 30-day Top Ad slot plus a 60-day Regular Ad slot. That makes the paid option a visibility purchase for sellers, not a fee to buy a car. Sellers prioritizing exposure may find the boost relevant; those content with a regular listing can use the free plan.
Financing tools add value for buyers comparing options before contacting a seller. CarDekho lets shoppers compare car-loan offers, apply online and estimate EMIs, alongside comparisons of cars by make, model, price and features. The trade-off is that the experience remains a discovery and contact marketplace: it does not provide a verified online purchase flow or saved-search alerts. Pick CarDekho if you want a broad Indian used-car search, direct seller contact and loan comparisons; look elsewhere if completing a verified purchase online or getting alerts for matching cars is essential.
