For conference interpreters, companies and event organisers, cAPPisco provides cloud-based remote simultaneous interpretation for online, on-site and hybrid meetings. Interpreters work in video-based virtual booths and can communicate through an interpreters' lounge; listeners select language channels through a secure access code. Its combination of live interpreting and virtual training booths makes it especially relevant to teams that need to practise as well as deliver remote interpretation.

The booth workflow is the product's clearest strength. The interpreter console includes microphone and mute controls, A/B channels and relays, while listeners can switch between original audio and interpretation automatically. Access options include web, Windows, iOS, Android, a Chrome extension and a Microsoft Teams listening app. cAPPisco also integrates with Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom and Google Meet, giving teams several meeting environments to consider. Customisable branding is available for the platform and listening app.

According to the vendor's pricing page, configurations are offered by quote. Mini Hub includes two languages and one booth for two interpreters; Hub adds unlimited booths, an interpreters' lounge and relay channels, with two interpreters per booth. Hub Extra allows three or four interpreters per booth and is intended for many source and target languages. The smaller configuration's two-language limit and the two-interpreter cap in Hub make cAPPisco a more natural fit for focused teams than for events needing broader language coverage or larger booths. Teams with those needs should assess Hub Extra; teams seeking straightforward virtual booth practice and team coordination have a closer match in cAPPisco.
