Canva PDF Editor is a PDF editing and design tool for individuals, educators, marketers, and teams that also need access to templates, stock media, brand assets, and collaboration features. Users can import PDFs, edit text and images, annotate pages, reorganize documents, convert and compress files, and export to several formats. For video intro work, it is most suitable when intro assets are occasional deliverables within a broader design workflow rather than the main production task.
The Free plan includes PDF editing, 1.6M+ templates, 4.7M+ photos, videos, graphics, and audio, 5GB of cloud storage, and 1 Brand Kit. Pro adds 3.6M+ templates including premium content, 141M+ premium media assets, 5 Brand Kits, 100GB of storage, and print-ready designs with CMYK export. Business keeps the larger template and media libraries while adding 100 Brand Kits, approvals, 500GB of storage, and team administration and collaboration. Enterprise adds enterprise-level security and controls, SSO, SCIM provisioning, custom apps, 1TB of storage, priority support, and a dedicated success manager.
Platform coverage is broad: the editor is available on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, with connections to Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. Collaborative sharing and comments support team workflows, while the Brand Kit and stock libraries help keep recurring designs consistent. The main limitation for this category is focus: the verified core feature set centers on PDF editing, conversion, compression, and document export, not a dedicated video-intro workflow. Choose it when intro creation sits alongside document and general design work; choose a more specialized tool when animated intros are the primary requirement.
