CAESES is a parametric engineering platform for simulation-driven design, CFD automation, design exploration, and shape optimization. It is aimed at simulation engineers, CFD specialists, optimization engineers, and product designers who need to create geometry models, generate variants, connect external simulation tools, and evaluate alternatives. The software supports manufacturing constraints, surrogate modeling, data analysis, CAD import and export, and automated workflows across CFD, FEA, electromagnetic, and multidisciplinary simulations.

The plan structure is suited to different levels of automation. Standard Edition includes geometry modeling, software connection, design studies, basic variation and optimization strategies, batch mode, and premium support. Power Edition includes Standard Edition, the Advanced Optimization add-on, and one of the Maritime, Turbo, or Propeller add-ons. The Batch Mode License provides full CAESES functionality in non-GUI mode, automated geometry variant creation, and HPC cluster optimization. Commercial pricing is available through contact with sales, while a 14-day trial provides a time-limited evaluation path.

CAESES stands out when geometry generation must connect directly to simulation and optimization workflows. It integrates with HEEDS, Dakota, optiSLang, Optimus, modeFRONTIER, Isight, CFD tools, FEA tools, and electromagnetic simulation tools. Its customizable workflows, constraint handling, and batch capabilities make it a strong fit for engineering teams running repeated design studies or external optimization processes. It is less suitable for users seeking a browser-based design application, a permanent free plan, or a general-purpose visual design tool. Teams that need Windows or Linux desktop software and simulation-led parametric exploration should consider CAESES; simpler geometry tasks may not require its broader engineering workflow.
