BRCKS review
Turns WhatsApp site updates into project records, with planning and client tools in a web dashboard.

BRCKS is construction project management software for UK builders and contractors, including residential builders, principal contractors and site managers. It is particularly suited to small teams that want to document site activity through WhatsApp rather than ask subcontractors to adopt another app. Messages, photos and voice notes can be captured as project records, while core-team users manage the work in a browser dashboard. Subcontractors, trades and clients can be invited without charge.
The product’s strongest fit is its WhatsApp-to-record workflow. BRCKS automatically compiles site diary entries with dates, photos, weather and labour details, and dated diary reports can be exported as PDFs. It also supports RFIs with an audit trail, variations, and snags with trade assignment and proof-of-fix photos. Tasks, timelines, files, progress and budgets sit alongside those records, so the focus is broader than a diary alone. A client portal provides a place for progress, documents and questions. This combination is useful when the main coordination challenge is preserving a traceable record of site activity and communicating it to clients.
According to the vendor’s pricing page, the BRCKS plan costs £40 per seat per month when billed annually or £50 per seat per month when billed monthly. Both published options include unlimited projects, unlimited free subcontractors, trades and clients, and the WhatsApp plugin, RFIs, variations, site diary, timelines and client portal. A 14-day free trial is offered. BRCKS is cloud-based, web-only, and lists WhatsApp as its integration; support is by email. Teams seeking a wide connected software ecosystem or a non-browser platform may prefer another option. Choose BRCKS when WhatsApp capture and construction-specific records matter more than breadth of integrations.
