Brainingcamp review
A focused toolkit for teacher-led digital math instruction, not adaptive practice.

Brainingcamp is a web-based math learning platform for educators and students, centered on 18 interactive digital manipulatives. Its tools include algebra tiles, base-ten blocks, fraction tiles, number lines, geoboards, and clocks. The platform is primarily positioned for elementary and K–8 mathematics instruction, making it a fit for teachers who want visual, interactive models during lessons rather than a standalone practice app.
Pricing is organized into Class, School, District, and Partner plans, with pricing starting at 95. Class includes one teacher and students, all 18 manipulatives, LIVE sessions, and Tasks. School extends access to all teachers and students and adds Implementation. District includes the same core access plus Professional Development and Implementation. Partner is designed for embedding the tools in another product and includes WCAG 2.2 AA, continual feature updates, and Implementation. A 30-day free trial is available without a credit card.
The strongest part of Brainingcamp is its live instructional workflow. Teachers can monitor student work, provide feedback, share customized lessons through Share Codes, and use more than 300 ready-to-use Tasks with Teacher Notes. Clever and ClassLink single sign-on, shared generic student logins, and keyboard and screen-reader support broaden its classroom fit. The trade-off is a deliberately focused scope: adaptive learning, gamified practice, and offline access are not part of the product. Schools seeking live, teacher-guided manipulatives should consider Brainingcamp; those prioritizing adaptive or game-based independent learning should choose a different type of math app.
