Boomcaster is a browser-based recording platform for podcasters, video creators, livestreamers, agencies, and producers. Its core workflow records each participant locally, uploads the results to the cloud, and provides separate ISO audio and video tracks alongside mixed-track exports. Video recording reaches up to 4K, while audio recording supports 48 kHz lossless quality. It is suited to teams that need both a remote recording environment and tools for live distribution or post-production.

There is no free plan, but every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and annual billing saves about 20%. Creator costs $29 per month ($23 a month billed annually) for one studio, one host and 15 recording hours a month, with up to 9 participants, 4K video, WAV audio and isolated tracks. Pro costs $79 a month ($63 billed annually) for 2 studios and 30 hours with live streaming to six destinations, Team costs $249 ($199) for 5 studios and 75 hours, and Business costs $499 ($399) for 30 studios and 180 hours; Enterprise is custom. Enterprise uses custom pricing and adds custom session capacity, SSO, SAML, Okta integration, a dedicated account manager, and priority technical support. The paid tiers therefore make the most sense for teams with recurring production volume or enterprise administration requirements.

Boomcaster’s broader value comes from combining recording, livestreaming, and editing workflows in one browser-based product. Livestream destinations include YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitch, and custom RTMP. Integrations with AWS S3, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Descript, Audition, and calendar platforms support production handoffs and scheduling. Automated transcription, transcript-based editing, final renders, audio enhancements, screen recording, and producer controls add depth beyond basic remote recording. Choose Boomcaster if high-quality video, separate tracks, livestreaming, and production integrations are central to your workflow; choose an alternative if you need a non-browser application or clearly defined free-plan limits.
