Bookmark OS is a web-based organizer for people who want more structure than a browser’s default bookmark menu. Its desktop-style folders bring together bookmarks, tabs, tasks, notes, and files, making it a fit for designers, developers, students, teachers, and anyone maintaining a large personal link library. Links can be saved through browser extensions, a bookmarklet, or email, while bookmark import and HTML export support moving information in and out of the service.

The Free plan includes unlimited bookmarks, to-dos, and notes, plus powerful search, tags, sorting, and 500MB of file uploads. The annual Pro plan costs $60 per year and keeps those core allowances while adding unlimited bookmark screenshot icons and increasing file uploads to 20GB. Dropbox is listed as an integration. For users who want visual organization and a combined workspace for reference material, the folder model, custom images, tab-session folders, and duplicate resolver are practical differentiators. Shared folders and bookmark collaboration also make the product suitable for small, focused collections shared with others.

Bookmark OS is narrower than services built around preserving web pages or searching their full text. Full-text search is not included, web archiving is not provided, and there is no native mobile app. That makes it a stronger choice for organized desktop bookmark libraries than for research workflows that require saved page copies, deep text retrieval, or dedicated mobile applications. Pick it if folders, browser capture, tab sessions, visual icons, and related notes matter most; choose an alternative if archival access, full-text discovery, or native mobile apps are central requirements.
