Blubrry is a web-based podcast hosting and publishing platform for independent creators, businesses, networks and organizations. It combines RSS feed management, directory distribution, audience statistics, managed WordPress websites, embeddable players and monetization tools. Audio and video podcasts are supported, with distribution to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube and other directories. WordPress publishers get PowerPress for publishing and management, while Vid2Pod converts YouTube content into audio podcasts.
The pricing structure separates statistics from podcast hosting. Free Statistics includes total plays and downloads, audience locations, and listening apps and devices. Standard Statistics costs $5 per month and adds full location, app and device data, comparisons for three recent episodes, and listening trends. Hosting begins with Standard 1.5 at $7 per month for up to 1.5 hours of monthly publishing, audio and video podcasts, standard statistics, a managed WordPress website and AI podcast tools. Standard 3 costs $15 per month for up to 3 hours, while Advanced 6, Advanced 12 and Advanced 25 cost $25, $50 and $90 per month with progressively higher publishing allowances, advanced analytics, AI tools and monetization features. Pro Unlimited costs $100 per month and adds unlimited publishing, multiple shows and users, dynamic advertising, FTP access and PowerPress multi-program mode.
Blubrry's strongest fit is a WordPress-centered publishing workflow with practical distribution and monetization options. Its ecosystem includes WordPress, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube and Apple Podcasts Subscriptions, alongside premium and password-protected feeds. The platform suits publishers that want managed WordPress support, video podcasting or advertising in one service. Smaller publishers should account for the distinction between free statistics and paid hosting, while high-volume networks may prefer Pro Unlimited for unlimited publishing and multiple users. Teams seeking the broadest analytics or publishing capacity will need higher tiers.
