BirchPress Scheduler is a WordPress appointment-booking plugin for small businesses and service providers. It adds embeddable booking forms to WordPress pages and posts, allowing customers to select services, providers, dates, and times. Administrators can manage services, locations, providers, work schedules, availability exceptions, days off, and customizable booking fields from WordPress. A free plan is available, while paid editions add more scheduling, payment, and access features.
The published plans show Personal at $99 per site annually, with automated email notifications, email reminders, holiday blocking, and booking lead-time controls. Business costs $199 per site annually and adds calendar sync through an iCal feed, PayPal integration, group booking, staff member auto assignment, and public calendar embedding. Business+ costs $249 per site annually and includes all Business features, plus staff access control and WooCommerce integration. This structure makes Personal suitable for basic appointment workflows, while businesses collecting payments or coordinating multiple staff may need a higher tier.
Platform fit is BirchPress Scheduler’s defining consideration. It is available for web and self-hosted use and is built around WordPress, with integrations for Google Calendar, Apple iCalendar, iCal, Outlook, PayPal, and WooCommerce. Two-way calendar synchronization, reminder emails, public calendar embedding, and provider management support a broad set of service-booking workflows within that environment. Choose it if your site already runs on WordPress and you want booking forms embedded into existing pages. Businesses seeking a broader appointment platform beyond a WordPress-centered setup should consider alternatives with a wider platform focus.
