BigOven brings recipe discovery and organization together with meal planning and grocery lists for home cooks. Its library contains more than one million recipes, searchable by title, keyword, course, or ingredient. Recipes can also be clipped from websites and blogs or scanned from photos, then saved, organized, and shared. The mix suits cooks who want a place to collect recipes and turn them into plans and shopping lists, rather than a tool focused only on recipe search.

The free Basic Member plan covers recipe search, grocery lists, the Up Leftovers tool, and saving up to 200 recipes; it includes one RecipeScan upload. Pro Annual Member and Pro Monthly Member both add unlimited recipe saving, a meal planner, custom folders, nutrition tools, ad removal, and 25 RecipeScans. A 30-day free trial is listed. The published plan details do not distinguish the two Pro tiers by features, so the choice between them is chiefly about annual versus monthly billing. Basic is a practical starting point for collecting recipes, while cooks who want meal planning or unlimited saving need Pro.

BigOven is available on the web, iOS, and Android, with previously viewed recipes and grocery lists available offline on mobile. Grocery lists can be generated from recipe ingredients and sorted by department or recipe, and the app can find recipes based on ingredients on hand. BigOven Clipper is the listed integration. Desktop use is through the browser rather than a native desktop app. Documentation is the listed support channel. Choose BigOven if recipe clipping, scanning, planning, and shopping lists belong in one routine; look elsewhere if native desktop software or a broader listed integration ecosystem is essential.
