BenchCanvas is a web-based product research tool for designers, product managers, UX researchers, marketers, founders, and consultants. Users paste a website URL to capture connected screens and map a digital flow, then review the result on a canvas. The product also supports authenticated-page capture through a Chrome extension, imported screenshots and images, sticky notes, comments, shared edit access, and comparisons across multiple URLs. Its focus is visual benchmarking and discussion rather than simply documenting individual screens.

The freemium structure gives the Free plan unlimited projects, unlimited screens, full access to AI features, and shared links with branding. Pro keeps unlimited projects and screens, then adds comments and annotations, 20 AI analyses per month, PDF and PNG export, and sharing without branding; this plan is marked coming soon. Team includes everything in Pro, plus real-time collaboration, a shared workspace, roles and permissions, 100 AI analyses per month, and priority support; it is also marked coming soon. Teams can therefore start with broad capture and AI access at no cost, while more formal review workflows depend on the paid tiers.

BenchCanvas fits teams that need to inspect live websites, compare flows, and keep discussion close to captured screens. Its AI reports and flow chat add an analysis layer, while MCP connectivity lets Cursor or Claude read flows, screens, comments, and notes. The Team plan is the clearest fit for shared workspace governance and live collaboration. Smaller teams can choose Free for exploration or Pro for exports and unbranded sharing, while teams looking for a dedicated interactive prototyping workflow should consider a more specialized product.
