awork is a project-management platform built for agencies and other project-based service providers. It brings project and task management, resource and capacity planning, time tracking, client and freelancer collaboration, documentation, integrations, and AI assistance into one workspace. Teams can work in list, board, timeline, or Gantt-style views, coordinate multiple projects, monitor workload, and track project budgets and billable time. The platform is available on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, making it suitable for distributed teams that need access across desktop and mobile devices.
The plan structure follows a clear progression. Basic includes unlimited projects, time tracking, a personal planner, regular integrations, desktop and mobile apps, and one project and task template. Standard adds capacity planning, team structure, three project and task custom fields, six templates, and one automation per project. Professional adds unlimited documents, a custom subdomain, time-tracking settings, comprehensive time reports, and unlimited custom fields. Enterprise adds SSO and SCIM integration, data migration, customer success support, premium support, and invoice payment. A 14-day free trial is available, but ongoing use requires a paid plan.
awork’s strongest fit is an agency that needs more than task lists: capacity planning, multi-project coordination, time records, client collaboration, file sharing, and workflow automations are all part of the product’s scope. Integrations include Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange, iCloud Calendar, Personio, Xero, and several business and agency tools. AI chat and AI agents extend the feature set, while awork Connect supports external collaboration. Smaller teams seeking a free project tracker or a narrowly focused task tool should look elsewhere; agencies that need structured resource planning and operational visibility have more reason to consider awork.
