AVS Video ReMaker is a Windows desktop application for cutting, deleting and reordering scenes in common video formats. It is aimed at solo users and small teams that need to combine footage while retaining the original quality, then prepare discs for playback. Supported formats include MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, AVCHD and MPEG, and the tool also captures video from webcams, DV cameras and screens.
The published plans show two paid options. The 1 Year Subscription costs $149 per year and provides access to 5 AVS4YOU programs. The Unlimited Subscription costs $279 as a one-time payment, includes unlimited access to 5 AVS4YOU programs and has no yearly renewals. Activation requires an AVS4YOU subscription; unactivated output carries a watermark. A 30-day refund period is provided, with ticket and documentation support channels.
Its strongest fit is a Windows workflow that combines editing with disc authoring. AVS Video ReMaker can merge files with similar parameters without reconversion, reorder clips, remove unwanted sections and preserve the source quality during those edits. It then adds DVD and Blu-ray menus, chapters and burning, which suits users preparing physical media rather than browser-based delivery. Choose it if Windows support, capture tools and disc creation matter alongside joining. Look elsewhere if you need macOS or browser access, or if your clips commonly use dissimilar parameters that do not meet the merging requirement.
