Auria Pro is an iPad music production application for musicians, recording engineers, and full bands working on iPad. It combines multitrack audio recording and editing with a comprehensive MIDI sequencer, piano-roll editing, software instruments, real-time warping and quantization, effects, routing, and automation. Unlimited playback tracks and support for up to 24 simultaneous recording inputs with compatible interfaces give it a broad scope for arranging and recording larger projects.

Its strongest area is the combination of MIDI and mixing depth. The application provides 64-bit mixing with buses, subgroups, aux sends, and automation, alongside built-in instruments including Lyra, FabFilter One, and FabFilter Twin 2. Audio Units, Inter-App Audio, Audiobus, AudioShare, Audio Copy/Paste, Dropbox, SoundCloud, and iTunes support connect it with an iOS-oriented production workflow. External iOS-compatible hard drives add storage flexibility, while AAF import and export support project interchange with other DAWs.

Auria Pro also reaches beyond a conventional audio-only workflow through optional video import with sample-accurate synchronization. Third-party effect plug-in support is available through an in-app purchase, so the core application and expanded plug-in capability are separate considerations. Its iPadOS focus makes it a strong fit for producers who want substantial sequencing, recording, and mixing tools on iPad, but a poor fit for teams that require desktop or cross-platform availability. Choose it for serious iPad-based production; consider an alternative if desktop access, a free plan, or integrated third-party plug-ins is essential.
