Audiosocket is a subscription music licensing service for creators, businesses, and production teams that need tracks and sound effects for defined projects. Its catalog includes more than 100,000 tracks and 150,000 sound effects and sound designs across more than 200 genres. Search options include creative briefs, similar tracks, guided prompts, filters, and curated playlists. AI supports search and recommendations; the service is not presented as a source of AI-generated licensable music.
According to Audiosocket's pricing page, Personal costs $10 per month with annual billing or $18 per month with monthly billing. It includes one user, unlimited music and sound-effects downloads, and personal or non-commercial web projects. Commercial costs $25 per month annually or $39 per month monthly, also for one user. It adds freelance client work and business or branded content for businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Both subscriptions provide unlimited music and sound-effects downloads and streaming while active, and projects licensed during an active subscription keep perpetual licenses.
The web service supports catalog search and project-specific license creation and storage; an API is also available for integrating music licensing into apps and platforms. That makes Audiosocket relevant to small teams building music selection or licensing into a product, as well as individual creators who need a clear distinction between personal and commercial use. Its plan boundaries matter: Personal does not cover commercial client work, and Commercial does not cover broader broadcast, film, games, or enterprise uses, which require custom licensing. Teams with those needs should seek a tailored license rather than assume a standard subscription applies.
