A web-based transcription tool for guitarists who need tabs plus separated stems.

audio2guitar is a web application for turning uploaded audio into guitar-focused transcription. It uses AI to generate six-string guitar tablature, chord diagrams, synced lyrics, and song sections from full-band audio. Guitarists can also work with separated guitar, vocal, bass, drum, and piano stems, making it suited to learning parts from recordings where the guitar is mixed with other instruments. Supported audio formats include MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG, and AAC, depending on the plan.
The pricing structure covers occasional and ongoing use. The Free plan includes 3 full songs, MP3 upload, tabs, chords, synced lyrics, and no credit card requirement. PAYG costs $9.99 one time for 10 transcription credits, without a subscription. Pro Monthly costs $8.99 per month, while Pro Annual costs $59.99 per year; both include unlimited individual use, all audio formats, MIDI export, PDF/print, separated stem downloads, and per-stem MIDI. The published starting price is $5 per month on annual billing. Pro use is subject to a fair-use limit of 35 new songs in any rolling 7-day period.
Its feature set extends beyond basic tab generation. Chord detection includes chord diagrams, notes can be mapped to guitar fret positions, and users can edit tabs, chords, and lyrics. Playback speed control and a guitar tuner support practice, while MIDI and PDF output provide additional ways to work with transcriptions. audio2guitar is a strong fit for guitarists who want tabs alongside source separation and flexible exports. Users who require a non-web application or need usage beyond the stated Pro fair-use limit should consider a different tool.
