A broad authoring suite pairing responsive Rise courses with custom Storyline interactions.

Articulate 360 is a workplace-training authoring platform for instructional designers, learning teams, and organizations. Its two central authoring tools serve different needs: Rise creates browser-based responsive courses, while Storyline supports custom interactive courses. The suite also covers quizzes, surveys, decision-making activities, branching scenarios, reusable templates and media, collaborative review, LMS publishing, and learner distribution through Reach. It runs across web services and Windows desktop authoring applications.
The plan structure separates authoring, frontline training creation, and combined administration. Articulate 360 AI Personal includes Rise, Storyline, AI generation, Review, and LMS publishing. Articulate 360 AI Teams adds team collaboration to that core set. Frontline focuses on AI-guided training creation, training kits, trackable sharing, and analytics. Hybrid combines Articulate 360 AI and Frontline under one agreement, with centralized administration, a unified credit view, and dedicated success support. There is no free plan, and a 14-day free trial is available.
Its strongest fit is for teams that need both rapid responsive production and detailed custom interactions, rather than a narrow tool for basic page-based courses. Broad LMS export support, browser-based stakeholder comments, shared team slides and templates, and integrations with Google Drive, OneDrive, Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Thinkific support varied production workflows. AI-assisted course, assessment, image, avatar, and translation workflows add further range. Teams seeking only simple authoring may find the suite broader than necessary, while organizations needing coordinated authoring, review, distribution, and analytics have a clearer reason to choose it.
