Arctic Stock is a community-generated stock media platform focused on photography and video footage from the Circumpolar Arctic. Its collection covers communities, culture, industry, landscapes, people, plants and animals, with much of the content originating in Nunavut. Customers can license royalty-free or rights-managed photos and footage for editorial, advertising, education, entertainment, packaging and other uses. The platform also accepts submissions from amateur and professional photographers and videographers.
Pricing is presented as one-time licence fees in CAD rather than subscription plans. The published options include Photography — Small Standard and Small Premium at 1250px, Medium Standard and Medium Premium at 2500px, Large Standard and Large Premium at 3500px, and Extra Large Standard and Extra Large Premium at 4500px and up. Each size is paired with either a Standard or Premium licence, while rights-managed pricing depends on usage. The starting price is 12 CAD. Files are available as JPEG/JPG images and MOV/MP4 footage.
The platform’s main strength is its narrow Arctic focus, supported by searchable thematic organization and licensing for a broad set of publishing and commercial contexts. Custom assistance is available for searches and photo shoots, which may suit projects with specific location or subject requirements. Arctic Stock is a strong choice for teams seeking Arctic imagery or footage and needing either royalty-free or rights-managed licensing. Buyers seeking a general-purpose stock library or access beyond the web should consider a broader or more widely available alternative.
