Apple Invites review
A focused invitation tool for Apple users who want built-in event coordination.

Apple Invites is an invitation and event-planning service for iPhone users and iCloud.com. Hosts can create invitations with photos, backgrounds, titles, dates, locations, descriptions, and links, then share them through email, text, messaging platforms, or invitation links. Guests can view invitations and RSVP without an Apple Account or iCloud+ subscription. It suits Apple users planning personal events who want invitations, responses, guests, and event memories in one connected experience.
Its strongest distinction is the Apple ecosystem fit. Apple Photos supports event imagery, Apple Maps provides directions, Weather adds event-date information, Apple Music enables collaborative playlists, and iCloud supports the service. Hosts can also create Image Playground-generated invitation backgrounds. Together, these features extend the invitation beyond a basic response form into a shared event page with albums and music. RSVP collection, status tracking, guest approval, attendee removal, and guest management cover the core coordination tasks.
The main trade-off is access for hosts: creating events requires an iCloud+ subscription, with plans named iCloud+ 50GB, 200GB, 2TB, 6TB, and 12TB. The 50GB plan includes full Apple Invites access and can be shared with up to five family members, while higher tiers add HomeKit Secure Video allowances and expanded storage. That structure makes Apple Invites a natural choice for people already invested in iCloud+, but less suitable for organizers seeking a standalone invitation product or broader platform coverage. Guests still receive a low-friction experience because they can view and RSVP through the app or web without iCloud+.
