Altered Real-Time Pro review
A desktop voice changer with live transformation, enhancement, and a $5 monthly plan.

Altered Real-Time Pro is a desktop application for transforming and enhancing speech during live voice and video communication. It is aimed at people who want to change vocal identity, improve speech, or translate accents in calls, games, and conferencing. Its virtual microphone routes processed audio into supported applications, while features such as Voice Skins, Isolate, Accent Translation, and Euphonia serve different voice workflows. Windows and Apple Silicon macOS are supported.
The published monthly plans scale by processing allowance and feature access. Free includes 20 minutes of processing per day, Isolate models for speech enhancement, and four Voice Skins each day. Voice Skins costs $5 per month and raises the allowance to 120 minutes per day, with all Voice Skins and Isolate models. Call Center and Euphonia each cost $12 per month and include unlimited processing, all Voice Skins and Isolate models, and multi-seat account management. Call Center adds Accent Translation models; Euphonia adds models for dysphonia and voice disfluencies. Enterprise pricing is per seat and available through sales, with usage analytics, on-device and on-premise compute, and SLA-backed uptime.
The integration list includes Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, Skype, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Minecraft, Fortnite, Among Us, and League of Legends, making the virtual-microphone approach relevant across work calls and gaming. Local or cloud compute, background audio and ambience controls, and real-time noise reduction add options for shaping live audio. The main constraint is platform coverage: this is for desktop rather than mobile use. Choose it if live transformation, isolation, or specialized voice restoration fits your workflow; look elsewhere if you need mobile platform support or recorded-audio editing and export.
