A French writing assistant with correction, learning tools, and educator plans.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
AlloCorrecteur is a web-based French writing assistant for students, parents, teachers, and educational organizations. It checks spelling, grammar, conjugation, and punctuation, then explains its corrections. The service also includes style analysis, reformulation with selectable styles, vocabulary tools, exercises, quizzes, synonyms, and conjugation resources. Its focus on French-language learning and writing practice makes it a natural fit for learners and educators who want correction paired with instruction.
Pricing is organized around individual, family, and teacher use. A free account provides access to core resources. Premium costs €9.90 per month for one learner and adds expanded exercises, quizzes, revision resources, plus advanced correction and style capabilities. Famille costs €14.90 per month for one parent and one child, with parent activity and progress views. Famille Plus+ costs €19.90 per month for multiple children, separate learning paths, and a family overview. Prof Premium is €14.90 per month and supports class and student organization, assigned and corrected work, and result reviews.
The main strength is the combination of language correction and educational depth rather than correction alone. Explanations, exercises, vocabulary support, and reformulation give learners several ways to work on French writing. The trade-off is platform scope: AlloCorrecteur is web-only, and its paid plans are oriented toward learners, families, and educators. Users who want a focused French learning assistant should consider it, while general users seeking a broader cross-platform writing tool may prefer an alternative.
