Alitu review
A browser-based podcast workflow with hosting, RSS, editing, and guest recording.

Alitu is a web-based podcast production platform for independent podcasters and creators who want recording, editing, publishing, and hosting in one workflow. Its browser studio supports solo sessions and guest calls, with audio and video recording for up to 10 participants. Finished episodes can be exported as MP3 files, published through supported podcast-host integrations, or distributed with Alitu Hosting and RSS.
Pricing divides the product into two annual-billing plans. The Audio plan costs £32 per month and includes solo or guest recording, audio editing, background-noise removal, voice enhancement, free music, profanity bleeping, and publishing to podcast platforms. The Video plan costs £79 per month and adds video-call uploads, video-call recording, video editing, audio enhancement for video, and publishing to YouTube and Spotify. A 7-day trial provides a short evaluation period, but there is no free plan.
The standout fit is breadth: Alitu covers local recording backups, text-based and waveform editing, Magic Filters for filler words and silences, AI transcription, MP3 export, hosting, RSS distribution, and direct publishing. Its ecosystem includes Alitu Hosting, Buzzsprout, Captivate, Castos, Libsyn, Podbean, Spreaker, and Transistor. The trade-off is recording structure: separate tracks are not supported, so creators who need isolated participant tracks should choose an alternative. Pick Alitu for a consolidated browser workflow and integrated publishing; choose elsewhere if separate-track recording is essential or if a free plan is required.
