Alibaba Cloud Academy is a training and certification platform for Alibaba Cloud customers, partners, developers, students, and cloud professionals. Its catalog covers infrastructure, networking, security, databases, big data, containers, AI, and cloud-native technologies. Learning options include self-paced online courses, instructor-led and in-person training, structured learning paths, short videos, lab environments, practical exercises, and progress management. The platform is a strong fit for learners building Alibaba Cloud skills or preparing for certifications across associate, professional, and expert levels.
The published plan shows a Clouder Certification option priced at $10 as a one-time purchase. It includes an online course, a certification exam, two exam attempts, and English-language content. Selected introductory courses are free, while other courses, certifications, and membership benefits require payment. Academy membership is available, and course, certification, and membership offerings may vary by region and change during the certification update program. Buyers should review the current offering for the specific certification they need.
Alibaba Cloud Academy’s main strength is its focused ecosystem fit: it combines Alibaba Cloud-specific learning paths with certification preparation and practical lab activities rather than covering multiple cloud providers. That narrow scope suits learners pursuing Alibaba Cloud credentials or roles centered on its services. It is less suitable for buyers seeking multi-cloud training, a broad third-party course marketplace, or a general platform with a verified free plan. Organizations and individuals who prefer a mix of self-paced, instructor-led, and in-person formats may find the catalog flexible, while learners needing non-English certification content should check the relevant course before purchasing.
