Alianza Crux API is a REST API for developers connecting voice and conversational AI experiences with participating Alianza-powered service providers. It is aimed at mid-market and enterprise teams building AI receptionists, IVR and self-service systems, conversation analytics or compliance recording. Its capabilities center on inbound SIP calls and recording workflows rather than general-purpose voice calling, so it fits teams working within the Alianza ecosystem better than teams seeking a provider-neutral API.

The API supports eligibility checks for an account, user or phone number, then lets developers create connections and assign experiences to those entities. Connections can be activated or deactivated to control media flow. For virtual-agent workflows, Crux routes inbound SIP calls to an endpoint; for post-call workflows, it receives SIPREC recording sessions with dual-channel SRTP audio and call metadata. Webhooks report experience-related events. These features give integrators a defined path from provisioning an experience to handling calls and recordings, but outbound calling is not supported, making another voice API a better fit when initiating calls is central.

Crux uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials or authorization code with PKCE. It is cloud-deployed and exposes an API; API Explorer examples include JavaScript and Python request snippets, which should not be mistaken for official SDKs. The published onboarding route directs interested developers to contact Alianza, and pricing follows a contact-sales model. That approach suits teams prepared to work with the vendor and its participating service-provider ecosystem. Choose Crux for inbound virtual-agent routing and SIPREC intake tied to Alianza accounts; look elsewhere for outbound voice or a broader, provider-independent calling service.
