AlbumStomp review
A focused desktop tool for photographers who need precise album layouts and proofing.

AlbumStomp is desktop software for photographers and studios designing photo albums from imported images. It supports drag-and-drop or file-based image import, album-company presets, custom album dimensions and configurable spread counts. Its workflow is aimed at professionals who need control over layouts, printable output and client review rather than a general-purpose photo book service. The software runs on Windows and macOS, and its trial includes the full feature set with watermarked exports.
Pricing is organized around one-time software purchases and optional cloud proofing. The Single User plan costs $99 and includes unlimited access, two installs on different machines, and PC and Mac support. The $179 Studio Pack raises the allowance to five installs while keeping full, unlimited access. Bundles add AlbumPrüfr: AlbumStomp + AlbumPrüfr costs $148 for a Single User package or $228 for the Studio Pack. AlbumPrüfr is also available separately for $49 per year, with cloud-based proofing and synchronization with AlbumStomp design files. These options make the standalone plans suitable for layout work, while the bundles fit studios that also need online client feedback.
The strongest focus is album construction. Mix it Up automatically generates different collage layouts from selected images, while users can refine cropping, alignment and margins before exporting high-resolution printable JPEG pages or spreads. Custom trim, DPI and spread-count controls support delivery to an album company. AlbumPrüfr extends the workflow into cloud proofing, but the product remains centered on desktop design and has one listed integration. Choose AlbumStomp if detailed album control and printable export are priorities; choose another tool if a web or mobile workflow is essential.
