AlbumForge is desktop software for creating photo albums locally, aimed at people who want to arrange and share albums without uploading photos to a cloud service. Families, photographers, and organizations can choose templates, customize layouts, and export finished pages or albums in several digital formats. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, but its desktop focus makes it less suitable for buyers who want to edit in a browser or on a phone.

Its export options and offline workflow are central strengths. The software can export standard or higher-quality PDFs, album pages as JPEG or PNG images, and interactive websites or slideshows. Automatic photo arrangement provides a starting layout, while templates and page customization allow further adjustment. AlbumForge can also read GPS/EXIF metadata to create interactive maps; advanced mapping and animations are included in Pro Solidary. This makes it a fit for digital albums with location context, but not a complete print-to-door service: print ordering is not integrated, so buyers must use a third-party printer themselves.

According to the vendor's pricing page, Discovered (Free) costs €0 and includes standard PDF export, offline use, no account requirement, and no watermark. Basic is a €29 one-time payment for high-quality PDF export, geographical mapping, and personal and commercial use. Pro Solidary costs €49 one time and adds professional-quality export, advanced mapping and animations, full customization, lifetime updates, and priority support. Family & Education costs €89 one time and includes five licenses for different computers, plus priority support and training. The published plans make AlbumForge appealing to buyers who prefer a one-time desktop purchase and digital output; those who need integrated print ordering or browser/mobile access should look elsewhere.
